You are right, his Spanish was not very good. That is why I could not
figure out what he really meant. For example, I could not be sure when
he meant 'upgrade' and when 'launch' when he used 'actualizar'. I have
seen this for 'launch', though the Real Academia does not include this
meaning.

But the main thing is that just as you said, he needs to give us more
data before we can answer and explain what the problem is. If he got
as far as getting a logcat output, he should send us that.

He might also want to try running on a real phone instead of an
emulator. It doesn't have to be a fancy or up to date phone, and he
can still do most of the same debugging on the phone as on an
emulator.
