Hello, I am using a timer to popup a window on an android smartphone (LG Nexus One). However I come across the following problem from time to time: sometimes when the phone is locked and is in standby mode because I haven't touched it for a while the popup's ringtone does not start until I unblock the phone. Essentially the alarm fires as soon as I unlock the phone by pushing the lockup screen upwards with the finger so it ends up firing up late sometimes. Strangely this does not happen all the time.
