Well, it doesn't seem as though those methods would be the way to go,
so I'll focus on using on Touch Events for ImageViews and then just
draw over the background and the selected letters.  This won't provide
a smooth transitioning effect that I had envisioned as a slider over
the letters, but should provide the same functionality that is
required.
