I've had a number of people contact me regarding a feature that
stopped working for them.

On further investigation, I've found two or three with evidence that a
file that was previously on their storage card. Searching the storage
card, customers found that whole directories were missing that must
have been there if the feature were working.

I do know that disappearing (and occassionally reappearing) folders
are a symptom of a failed storage card.

But it is funny that by the third time, I was asking "Is it a Droid
Incredible?" Yep. ( i haven't asked whether it is 1 or 2).

That causes me to wonder if there are housekeeping tasks, virus
scanners, music organizers that try to keep your storage card clean
and are going after the files they don't think we need.

Or it could simply be that the Incredible comes with a small storage
card and that encourages people to go out and buy a cheap 32Gig card
that fails often.

Does anybody know more that they can share?

Nathan
