Thank you, again. Most of my high-cost performance-sensitive stuff are run by the Handler on threads other than the main UI thread, and when I asked about Traceview in the past, someone told me "it is no good handling threads but otherwise is a good debugging tool" so I dismissed it without trying. I will give it a try on your recommendation.
When an ICS hardware arrives on my desk (Sharp is already selling 104SH and others seem to follow soon in Japan), I have a feeling what you said about micro-optimizations will hit me hard as I'll be using something that might come close to the capabilities of my desktop!
