I am a criminal investigator with a State Attorney's office in Florida. I have an EVO 4G phone that belonged to a murder victim. I tried going through Google to unlock the phone to view the text messages. Google said the phone was never registered with them and cannot provide any assistance. My question is can the motherboard be removed and the memory accessed to retrieve this data? If so do you know who can do so? The state will provide legal documentation and pay any necessary costs.
