We want to write an Android app that can view/control our device (running embedded Linux). In order to make this simple we'd like to add a standard /device service discovery protocol that can be used in Android, but we're not sure what is supported. Can anyone tell us if any of these are supported in Android by default, or if additional libraries can be installed to use them?
- Bonjour/Avahi/mDNS - SSDP (Simple Service Discovery Protocol) - LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) - LLMNR (Link Local Multicast Name Resolution) Thanks for any help. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
