Unsigned apk?
How do you do that?
Eclipse and ant both sign apps with a generic (generated) debug key, unless
requested to use your release key.
For the second issue, might want to check the logcat ("adb logcat" in a
console, or DDMS or Eclipse logcat panel) to see if it contains any clues.
