Customers are also reporting behavior where they do not see files from their computer when they do in fact exist.
Are there better references for what the media scanner does than what very very little I have found in documentation. According to previous statements in this group, the media scanner does care about more than just media files, which is not mentioned in the documentation yet. If this invisible file behavior has nothing to do with the media scanner, then please tell me what could be causing it.
