I just tried to install Android Studio 2.x on a different laptop, which I've never used before for Android development. It is running Windows 7 Home Premium and is an AMD-based laptop. AS runs okay (although a bit slow) but I'm not able to connect to my phone device via adb. It also says unauthorized and don't prompt me on the phone to allow connecting. I turned off developer options, then turned it back on again. I then enabled USB debugging and then revoked authorizations. I then did an 'adb kill-server' and then a start-server but still, no prompt on the phone to allow USB debugging.
