Remember RDM and MDM are not the same.*** *Scope of Work:* · This candidate would play a key role in the implementation of the Master Data Management/Reference Data Management. · This role is expected to be expert IBM MDM/RDM product, installation and implementation as it pertains to data consumers or providers. · The team in which the resource will be placed provides design, development and consulting services to business users and projects as well as functions as a governing body for all data movement within the organization. · Functions Performed · The following functions are the responsibility of the Master Data Architect or Developer. · This candidate will be responsible to perform these tasks independently as well as in collaboration within the team and across other teams to provide a solid end to end solution. *Position Responsibilities:* · Implementation experience with IBM MDM/RDM products. · Knowledge of Batch import and export in MDM/RDM. · Participate in technical architecture design/development for MDM Data Consumption · Experienced in data governance in an enterprise setting as part of large scale projects · Determine standards for data consistency, management, integration, and quality · Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to align data standards governance and development through usage of MDM and Data as a Service. Experience in working with MetaData Management Tools *Technical Skills Required*: · 8 to 10 years of IT experience in following areas: · IBM InfoSphere Suite · IBM MDM/RDM Suite · Java (web services and GUI’s) · Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, Access) · IBM Custom Data Hub using Java · Development experience of APIs *Skills:* Enterprise Content Mgt. (Documentum, IBMFilenet, Alfresco,Tibco, ...)
