Well, join the club :( Some people on the list think me and several other guys were just imagining these issues. Lucky bastards :)
Do instruct them to uninstall and reinstall (this would help many but would still piss some users off), and also, if you think it's a good idea, ask them to send you an e-mail if they experience difficulties after an update and send them an alternate link to your product (at the risk that they'll forward it).
