Job title : *Business Analyst (HealthCare)* Location:Richmond, Virginia Duration 09 Months Description : DMAS Information Management has an immediate need for a Business Analyst -5 resource to support the MCSS-CORE for the new VA Medicaid Enterprise System Duration: July 2022 will extension likely and based on work *Complete Description:* To NOTE: Currently, majority of this role will be remote, if selected, equipment MUST be picked up IN PERSON (no exceptions). DMAS is seeking experienced Business Analysts to work on the Medicaid Enterprise Solution project that is currently underway. Potential candidates should have prior experience working on MMIS projects, either operations or Implementations. Experience working in a team environment to support MMIS vendors to implement solutions for Claims Processing, Provider Operation Management, Member Management, and other Medicaid Subject areas. Experience with Requirements analysis, design and User Acceptance testing is essential. Knowledge of Virginia Medicaid business rules and practices is a plus. *Skill* *Required / Desired* *Amount of Experience* Experience with business process re-engineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems Required 3 Years Familiar with industry standards (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and re-engineering. Required 3 Years Experience preparing solution options, risk identification, and financial analysis such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Required 1 Years Experience writing detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Required 4 Years Experience preparing and documenting Functional and Technical Specifications. Required 4 Years Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Required 4 Years Must be familiar with relational database concepts and client server concepts. Required 1 Years Experience with creating test scenarios & test cases.
