More fun than data roaming is "uploading all their photos to the web" or
"deleting everything on the sd card". (The first requires the ever-popular
"internet access". The second is completely free of even the vaguest of
warnings.) If this is the bar you have to apply to justify the
safety/security, you should have no trouble at all.
