Hello Guys,

I am new to android developement (linux inetrnals in general).

Can anyone plese let me know what are the steps i need to follow to
boot android out of NAND flash.

I have been able to boot from the kernel(with the android patch) on a
IMX31 board. I run

exec -c "noinitrd console=ttymxc0,115200 root=/dev/mtdblock2
rootfstype=jffs2 init=linuxrc ip=none"

from the redboot prompt.

How do I switch over from the this rootfilesystem to the android root
file system.What are the steps in locating the RFS of android(I
presume it should be on a YAFFS2 format) on to the flash part.

Do I need to do ant mtd block configuration?

More details would be greatly appreciated.
