Not to sound too defensive but ... I have read the documentation thoroughly and repeatedly. I have also watched any and all videos from the conference, etc. I have been developing with Android since November. I am a professional software engineer with around 20 years of experience. I was still stumped! A cookbook of examples using different launchModes may have helped me out in this case.
