Hi, Per the official ADC2 website, "The ADC 2 contest is open only to applications that have not been made publicly available through the Android Market prior to August 1, 2009." Thus, you may publish your new release to the Market and submit to the ADC2, provided of course that you had not previously submitted the app (even with a different UI) to the Market prior to August 1.
