The guidelines say: "It's very important that your apps only use published APIs. Some users might be judging your submissions on new phones you haven't seen or tested. If your apps depend on unpublished APIs, they might not work on some of these phones."
Does this refer to unpublished Android APIs? The reason I ask is that my App uses the TTS library for speech synthesis. (http://code.google.com/p/eyes-free/wiki/ TTSLibraryExplanation). Would you consider the TTS to be an unpublished API? When my app first loads up it will ahve to download some speech data files to the SD card.
