Hi,
I have the same problem as well.  If you install a $10.00 prepaid sim
card, you merely advance the problem to you can't get past the google
sign-in (It really wants a data sim).  All I want to do is get to the
setting menu and to enable wi-fi for development testing purposes.  No
good answers yet.  If you can't get to the settings menu you can't
enable debug for other purposes.
