Not like I couldn't swing it. But. Next time I feel spendy I'm going for this: http://maemo.nokia.com/n900/ and this, for a refresh of my aging scratchbox dev environment: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article987-page1.html before looking at Android 2.0. 'cuz I don't feel like committing 2 grands+ over two years, on a carrier-locked device that I have no use for other than testing releases just to receive user comments like they couldn't install the app, due to some glitch in the Android Market or for some other reason outside of my control. Thankyouverymuch, but I'll pass, for time being. I'd say, right now, I feel like I'd have a couple or three hundred bucks to spare on an unlocked GSM-Android 2.0 device (w/o any voice or data service and carrier commitment, for those in doubt). So let's see how it goes with Verizon then, keep us posted!
