I'm sure they have good reason about it. There are plenty of reasons that can delay the process. Maybe they were trying to find a solution to rectify the damage done by Android 1.6 release. Maybe it's better for us all if they're reviewing all apps, because honestly, end user community is not reliable enough to make judgments especially with 100 reviews per app. Look at some comments on every successful or unsuccessful application in Market, you will see what I mean, subjectivity hurts us all.
