The problem existed between keyboard and chair. I didn't realize that you have to press "Publish" again after uploading an upgrade. It seems I'm just too stupid to use the "Developer Console" web interface *blush*.
Justin, Droid uses Android 2.0. The 1.5 phones ignore unknown tags (like the supports-screens tag) so this usage should be ok.
