Hi, I have an Android 1.6 App that works fine on 1.6.
I'm sticking with release 1.6 as it seems to be the most common. However, with the advent of Android 2.1, Im worried as apparently there are some bugs in there that prevent apps like mine working on it. I think it would be a great sign of mercy if someone from Google could actually respond to this email: Is there a patch fix for this backward compatibility issue, or do we have to recompile or modify our code to suit Android 2.1? If so, what do we modify? Where? Can you give examples? If a patch is expected to fix this problem, when is this due? Please assist!!
