You can't really do that.

the SDK Updater is not meant to work with different repository, unless
these additional repositories only contain add-ons.

If the internet is not fast, just download the SDK and the 1.5
component on your computer and repackage (a simple zip file suffice)
and put that on your local network for your students to download.
