Greetings, I represent the Continua Health Alliance, a non-profit open industry Alliance of the finest healthcare and technology companies in the world collaborating together to on personal telehealth. We are selecting and profiling connectivity standards (USB & Bluetooth) to enable health and medical devices to connect seamlessly to cell phones, PCs, and other compute platforms. We are also producing reference source code to enable our membership to easily adopt the Continua connectivity standards and rapidly develop Continua Certified devices based off the open industry standards. Dozens of companies now have products in development (blood pressure cuffs, weight scales, glucose meters, cardio gym equipment, etc.) that will utilize the standards. I would like to ask the Android developer community if they would see benefit in incorporating Continua interfaces and our reference source code into the Android SDK?
