+1 I'm working on a Google Summer of Code project [1] and have experienced significant setbacks because of the lack of annotations support in Android [2]. The annotations issue was supposed to be resolved in a future version of the SDK.
A new SDK would allow me to concentrate on interesting use cases for Apache Tuscany on Android. Instead, I have focused almost completely on working around problems resulting from use of the current SDK.
