+1 This is really annoying. I actually abandoned iPhone development in favour of the more promising Android platform; a decision I am beginning to regret.
I'm willing to stick it out for now with Android, but I sincerely hope things change BEFORE come August. I believe that the whole Intents system was a step in the right direction, but in its current state comes short of a meter. Things as simple as a global onscreen keyboard should not be impossible to write...
