Hmm, I assumed that; let me rephrase my question: If anybody has app
code that uses classes in question (i.e. from packages
com.google.android.maps and com.android.location.Geocoder), can they
"simply" switch out import declarations and add the respective .jar of
OpenStreetMap-MapView, and now roll with OpenStreetMap-MapView right
out of the box; perhaps only having to refactor identifiers in their
app code? This would require classes in your packages which allow an
in-place replacement of GeoPoint, ItemizedOverlay, MapActivity,
MapView, MapController etc.
Or are you building a completely new model?
