Hello all! :)

First off to all the hard working and curious coders & tinkerers of
Android thanks for building upon a great platform that'll only improve
to become greatness. As I anticipate on the G1's potentials I started
thinking about the limits of the 8GB space and how much stuff I'd be
able to bring along. Then it struck me -- couldn't I use a media
server application from my computer, then have phone stream content
over the network? I imagine that while 3G is sufficient speed wise-
even Edge should handle the minimum bandwidth of streaming to an
Android device.

So was wondering if anyone was working on anything similar to this on
Android, like the same way my PS3 can see my computer when it's set up
as a media server then just have the G1 do the same just as long as
the external IP & open port is visible across the internet. I can
already access my home machine from work computer and this would be
epic greatness! :D
