SlideME has an option when uploading an application, where you select that
it works with Android SDK 1.0. We aren't doing any verification before
publishing and from what I've seen the community is sincere in not wanting
to push out applications that don't work. And many developers not having G1s
(or even able to get one) doesn't make it easier. Most of the bad reports
people have blogged about have come from trying to download old pre-1.0
applications from various sites, some of which the developer may not even
know exist.

Having said that, you are perfectly free to push out applications that have
only been tested on the emulator. If there are apps that people report that
don't install, we will unpublish them from the catalog until it's fixed. But
if anyone wants testing on the G1 before publishing, just click the pre-1.0
option and send me an e-mail that you would like me to test. If it doesn't
work, I'll send you the debug output so you can have a look. If it does, you
can go ahead and publish.

We are a small community site, so its not a big deal for me test out the
basics. Also if anyone has a G1 and wants to help out with testing of
applications, just let me know.
