Hello all, First, let me say I am simply LOVING my G1 and the open source platform has peaked my interest in learning more about open source and it's development but, the development part is a long way away just yet.
I have a question for those of you more knowledgeable in the file structure of Android. I recently downloaded the Android File Manager in hopes of renaming the folder I placed on one of my G1 "desktops" where I store games and fun apps for when the workday slows to a crawl :P. Having poked about in the file structure for a bit, I have yet to find the location where the folder created by the OS is located (file name default "Folder"). I understand from the Android File Manager description that it can be used to rename folders (and files) and I would like to rename this folder to something more unique, so as to distinguish between it and other folders I will create. Could someone please tell me where in the file structure I should be looking to locate this folder on my device “desktop” so I can rename it and others in the future? Thank you in advance for your assistance. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
