So I've been playing with the contacts on the new phone, and I've been wondering about a possible change.
In Gmail you can create groups and add contacts into them, and then within the phone menus there's a radio select button which allows you to display only the group you select. I've yet to look at the code, but would it be possible to make those check boxes so you could display multiple groups or not display only specific groups? For instance, I have all my work contacts in there, which are really useful during the day or when I travel, but then when I'm away from work, I don't want to see those contacts. I'd like to be able to select my "Friends" group and "Family" group and not the work contacts, or my group of friends from the local area + family, but not friends from other areas (which are currently set up as groups). Just an idea. Feasible? Would others want that? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
