It's a difference if any big player, say Adobe (just picking a name
out of a hat), or the owner of the platform, deliver apps. I believe
this has a deflating effect, because even the big players will get
second thoughts if it's worth the risk to go up against the owner of
the platform. Remember how MS got big (MS Office).
