i played with my phone too much without unlocking and it decided i was trying to break in, so it asked for google account password. the thing is, i haven't set up any, so of course, no matter what i entered kept failing. even a valid name/password - but that's not a surprise, since i wasn't connected to internet anyway. oops. what i ended up doing after much thought is giving the phone a factory reset, losing all my settings and apps. this looks like a bug to me - asking for account password when there isn't any set up. or did i miss something?
