I can't help but start to feel anger over this. I was lead to believe that this was the "Google" phone and I purchased it based on the idea that it will get updates over time to improve it, and that Google was actually working with t-mobile and HTC to help make this particular first phone continue to happen. It even has Google printed right on the back and is entirely based around Google apps. You can't even use/ activate it without a Google account. Now I'm seeing messages that implies G1 is basically being abandoned, even though someone was able to emergency push RC30 to us to remove our root access to the phone. I feel like I got duped for Windows ME right before XP was released, and you guys (Google) hyped up the G1 too so don't just point fingers. I'm not a dev but that is my public feedback 2 cents.
