Hi, Mine did the same today... Went to the market place like any other day, and then the glowing android screen.
It got real fun after it booted back up, my /sdcard was "read-only". I ended up having to pull the card, and format it before it started working properly again. I couldn't figure out what the problem was, the sdcard that came with Android still worked fine... but my 4gig was crapped. It may be unrelated... but who knows...
