I have three applications, a free one and two paid ($0.99 and $1.99). For the free one I've had close to 2500 downloads with only a 25% active rate and only 50ish ratings..
The $1.99 application approximately 40 downloads, 10ish refunded only about 5 ratings. Mostly the people who refunded saying "too expensive" or something. The $0.99 application has approximately 100 downloads and only 10 have returned it. Most returned it after a full 24 hours of using the product as logged by my server. Though adding this $0.99 app seemed to have booked my $1.99 sales.. just my case though.
