(FWIW, this is the right group - with android-discuss it's hard to be wrong).

On the one hand filing a bug would generally be the right thing to do.

On the other hand this is an area of the code that has had a lot of
improvements already since the last release, so the answer you're most
likely to get is "probably fixed in the next major release" with no
further action.
