Was there a clause in the T&C from Google regarding this?  I
understand it may be in the interest of the carriers but they either
need a clause in ther T&C to allow such a removal, or else they should
put the app back on the market.  Of course there is the open source
version that anyone can easily download and install provided they have
"Unknown Sources" checked in their settings.
