I have a lot of customers in India. None of them have requested iPhone
versions of my software. Only my US customers request that. Most of my
Indian customers are using Treos and Windows Mobile devices and some
have requested Blackberry and Instinct versions. But as far as phone
only apps go my first one was for Android and I have second on the back
burner until Cupcake gets released because it would do better with text
input on Portrait mode instead of a barrage of clunky widgets. India is
more mobile phone crazy because landlines are that common. About 10
years ago they had a big initiative to push mobile technology which made
more sense than laying more landlines. Bill Gates wanted to do the
latter and got a taste of what it was like to stick his nose into a
country like India. ;-)
