Hi, actualy I'm the developer of this software which for Japanese people consists in two parts : OCR and IME. An OCR, which is now stable and can be used on : * 6400 kanjis * 2200/6400 with stroke count recognition * hiragana/katakana of course I'm also working on the IME part, it's rather simple at the moment with the following transitions : * romaji => multiple katakana * romaji => multiple hiragana * romaji => single kanji The next step will be to have * romaji => multiple mixed katakana/hiragana/kanji if you see what i mean When cupcake will be released, the "Lliane Japan IME" application will be fully integrated in the Imput Method Framework and all applications will be able to natively use it. (At the moment you have to use a notification to display the IME dialog). PS : Japanese isn't my native language and i only new a few words, i'm using the windows ime a lot but i need real feedback from real japanese users. I also need someone to translate the documentation to Japanese. I'm also looking for an internship in Japan so feel free to contact me. -- Lliane aka Simon Depiets Epita Promo 2011,42 http://www.lliane.com A man is smoking with his girlfriend.
