I've been watching for this today and noticed it happening a fair amount. Usually it seemed to happen when my G1 switched from 3g to GPRS, this seemed to work fine but then after about 20 seconds the data symbol on the G1 disapeared and I had no data connection. It usually took between 1 and 2 mins for it to come back. I saw this happen about 4 times in 20 mins of watching the phone. I was not in a wifi area. Any ideas about this?
