Hi, I'd like to hear about your thoughts/experiences as to how (if at all) T-Mobile acts as an application store gatekeeper. Do they have their own application store besides Android Market so that users can download Android apps from two places "officially"? Can TMO influence on what is sold on AM? I recall the banning of a tethering application that TMO didn't want to be available on AM so Google rejected it (I mean the submisison of the app). Other than this, how do operators protect themselves from rogue apps, for example? On other platforms they require special certificates be used for signing, but on Android it's still self-signing that is being used.
Thanks for help, Tote --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
