Barriers to buying an app on the Android market, in no particular
order:

Limited number of handsets: G1, G2 now out, others coming this year.
Limited application space on the phone: G1/G2 have ~70mb of space
before you have to start *uninstalling*.
Paid apps only available in US and some European countries.
Pricing options only available to US and UK developers.
Limited payment options: Google checkout is not a good option outside
the US.
Sales Tax is left up to the developers: International Tax is too
complicated for individuals to sort out, and legitimate developers
(with day jobs) don't want to be investigated down the road.
My development phone will never support priced (i.e. DRM)
applications.

Sort all this out and then we can start talking about if Android users
have lower pricing expectations than say iPhone users.

Mark
