That is odd, I've noticed the reverse with my G1. My son has a Nokia N95, this is not as quick to determine location and mostly less accurate. My wife has a Blackberry Pearl, this is next to useless at acquiring its location and keeping it. My G1 seems much quicker to acquirer an accurate location. And better at holding it.
