It's hit or miss with my G-1 finding my location. 70% of the time, it would tell me your location could not be determined, and if I restart my phone, it may or may not work - note: clear view of sky is present.
Also while sitting at a restaurant the other day with a couple of windows near by, my friends black berry and nokia handsets could determine their respective locations, but my G1 couldnt.
