They haven't dropped Bluetooth, they only support certain aspects. You can follow the "fun" about file transfer at;
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1725 (for file transfer) and, imho, the other big missing part of Bluetooth support, tethering, is at; http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1416 As the tethering RFE dates back to December last year and the file transfer one dates back to the start of this year and they're both still labelled as "New" I'm guessing we're not going to see these fixed any time soon.
