Hi all, Corporate phone/voice systems often attach voicemail to e-mail messages in a format that is unrecognizable to the G1's built-in audio player. These non-supported audio codecs include:
# G.711A (CCITT ALaw) # G.711u (CCITT Law) # PCM # IMA ADPCM # GSM 06.10 # OKI ADPCM # Microsoft ADPCM This feature request, along with some comments from frustrated G1 users, can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1712 Similar apps on the Palm and Windows Mobile include MVisualVoiceMail (http://www.motionapps.com/product/mvisualvoicemail/), which sells for $24.99 - $39.99. Given the success of Touchdown in the Android Market, I'd say a developer could ask for a pretty good amount for this functionality. (Note: I purchased MVoiceMail for my Palm, and I would definitely buy an Android version for myself.)
