Rights and freedoms are of the few things worth going to war for. I know that some people would argue that they want the "freedom" to view flash, but it doesn't work like that. Supporting them = enabling them to oppress you.
There are ALTERNATIVES to flash that do the SAME THING, which are OPEN, and well supported at the browser level. Wouldn't it be nice if those were used INSTEAD? Say for example, SMIL? And take all those stupid video sites that use flash-based video players... THERE IS NO REASON to be doing that. Just link to the video file and it'll play!
