Hello, is there any possibility to deactivate the camera in android smartphones? Because of security reasons of my company I have to deactivate the camera. Otherwise they will destroy the camera by scratching the lense. I would really appreciate a solution with deactivate or deinstall the camera application. I have the Samsung I7500 (Galaxy) with Android Version 1.5. If there is no solution yet perhaps some of the android developers would feel himself appoint to create such a solution. Many big and also some small companies have such rules and if Android wants to become relevant in business there must be a deactivation possibility. Otherwise Windows Mobile will still have a big advantage in the future because you are able to deactivate it there.
I know we can discuss if a simple deactivation is reasonable because you are also able to reinstall or reactivate it but I only need an argument that I disabled it and the rest will be done by a sticker over the lense by the company. kind regards Simon --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
